So before I add something, I must tell you that I have about 2 years of experience as a mixing engineer. There is still a long road ahead of me.. But if you are just starting now, or you are here to help yourself start your career as an artist, you can take my words for it. Also if you are an intermediate like me, i have a recommendation for you as well..

Back when I was just starting to learn mixing, I wish I had access to these. At the beginning, I was really confused and all over the place. It’s obvious that us, the rap artists, we need to release a decent amount of songs before we can get better at them as a whole and hiring engineers is not an option thanks to the budget constraints, etc.

So what will these Vocal Chains do for you? Well, you must have heard Sean say that “this will give you a good starting point to work with”. What he means there is that, the experienced mixing engineers will certainly tweak the plugins to make necessary changes as we can hear the issues with the vocals we are working on. But for someone who is new, he will be good to go with the defaults provided by Sean, as these are amazing presets. Now don’t get me wrong! Most of the time these will actually be all you need with a few tweaks on the knob. This is a time saver!

I haven’t tested the “Live” ones yet but im pretty sure they are amazing starting points for testing your delievery before record your final takes.

Whenever I have a question about a DAW technique, creating a beat or feel, mixing or mastering or a specific plugin question I make sure to reference your library to hear what you have to offer. I purchased your Studio Rack setups and they are superb. I love using them and your video made it so easy to customize them.

Hey man. Just purchased your Vocal Chains LE. Took it on a quick test drive in Logic. So seamless bro! Even your download guide was 👌🏾. I really appreciate your design and execution. It’s really hard to simplify things to where a novice on the subject matter can hit the ground running. U bodied it 🔥. Totally turn-key. Not an easy feat bro. U should be proud. I’m a fan. 🙏🏾💯

As a muso – like many – I’ve always faced a roadblock. The highway sang under my wheels till I hit a wall. My well-crafted grooves ran into an immoveable obstruction. That wall was called mastering. (The masters are in charge. A scale itself is a kind of hierarchy when you think about it.) Well, I removed a brick here-and-there, transcended some barbed-wire, ended up with a lop-sided mess with about 2mm depth-of-field, no gloss and zero-authority.

‘So I tried sending my two-track bounces to mastering-houses and AI artilects. Hopeless: rubbish-in, rubbish-out. They couldn’t disentangle my mixes. World-class sound for me was just a myth.

‘Then I took a scientific shortcut, followed a lateral-thinking escape-route. Suddenly I was liberated, racing in jetstreams of pure audio. How? Simple! With Sean Divine’s Waves Template. Pull your individual tracks into the sophisticated environment of a virtual mix desk set up by someone who has the technicalities of DAW mixing totally-totally down. Match your RMS levels to the template guidelines. (Not difficult.) Check some LUFS. (Standing on your head.) And suddenly your mix has done a quantum-leap. And you’re still not committed to a bounce. I recently purchased your Vocal Chains V3 presets and they’re the answer I’ve been looking for in regards to home studio vocals. I’ve had them for a month and I’ve already used them in professional productions for clients. Somehow, you’ve given me the ultimate solution to high quality home vocals whilst saving me thousands of dollars in studio time so thank you, thank you, thank you.

Finally, yesterday I tried your presets for Waves Studio Rack. I can not say how much I appreciate it! I have so many new gears in my studio that it will take a year for me to learn everything. But now I can start making songs in Logic in a much faster way with your beautiful presets! Thanks for all your sharing!

I just re-mixed a client’s entire track using Vocal Chains V2 from Sean Divine and OMG!!! The client’s mouth dropped and asked, “are you available to re-do some tracks done by another engineer?”. These mastering chains saved my life! Originally, I was mastering from lander and it was good but I never had control of the mastering. Just had to accept what they gave me. Now with this chain, I literally have complete control, and I can tweak the presets as much as I prefer.

I’ve bought a lot of vocal chains from different sites but nothing comes close to Vocal Chains V2. This is my secret sauce for clients that come to my studio now. Keep up the good work Sean!

I really love and enjoy using Divine Mixing – Vocal Chains V1 and V2. It’s not easy to get a good vocal chain or starting point for every recording out there, especially if you are a beginner. But with Sean’s vocal chains it helps me get to “THAT SOUND” a lot quicker in situations that I’m very limited on time or want to give the client something good as a reference and something very close to the final product. Just drop the presets that fit best and tweak a little and you are one step closer to a more polish vocal. One thing people forget is it doesn’t matter how great a vocal chain is but if the recording of the vocals is not on point DO NOT expect it to do miracles. It all starts with the SOURCE of the recording and the decisions made at the recording stage by the singer, engineer or producer. The vocals fx are amazing and I even learned a couple of new tricks – we learn something new every day. So Sean BIG THANK YOU for these packs and can’t wait for future packs to come vol 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Please have some soon. Great job!!!

Hey Sean. I followed the instructions on the installation video and WOW, vocals are sparkling. So much so that I put bare minimum effort into the mix down because I was able to get a hold of a mixing engineer who has worked with big names. He agreed to mix / master the album (for quite a hefty price but still). He wrote back and said the track sounded perfect and there wasn’t too much more mixing that he needed to do. That was just minimal effort. I wasn’t even trying to mix it anymore than just being pleasing while recording. So… well done bro!!!

I purchased ‘Vocal Chains V2’ which is yet another excellent product from your stable. Will be getting plenty of mileage out of using these presets on my tracks. The whole ‘StudioRack’ concept is now working beautifully for me in the studio. So please continue in the same direction which is all good, thank you!

This is a must get course for any producer, great mixing techniques. Thanks to Sean Divine, I am now more then ever confident with mixing beats. And I made the switch from Reason to Logic Pro after watching a few videos on his YouTube channel. Get the course and learn from the best.

I have been mixing for about 12 years. I have gone to college for 3 years to learn how to “mix like the pro’s”. During that time, I was taught a lot of “rules” to stick by (some good, some…bad). These are all things that I stood by with ALL my mixes and by the end of it… I was still struggling to get THAT SOUND that we all desire when it comes to our mixes.

At this point I was about to say screw it and start using my home studio for recording only and start sending my vocals out to engineers to have them mixed and also reject any clients that I had at the time as well. This was simply because I was not confident in the sound I could achieve. I didn’t think it was good enough for my own mixes and I didn’t think it was a quality of sound that people would expect when they paid for mixing/mastering.

Keep in mind, I knew what I was doing. I knew all the fundamentals, I knew my DAW in and out, I knew how to use all the tools that us Engineers use. I just could not for the life of me figure out what I was doing wrong. I was at a dead end in all honesty.

One day I was just scrolling on youtube and I came across Sean Divine’s channel. I started watching his videos and at first, I was like… “This guy goes against almost everything that I was taught in school..” and I was interested in hearing his mixes. Once I found his playlist on his site, I was actually blown away. The sound he had was better than the sound I wanted to achieve. So I kept watching his videos. I started mixing old projects from scratch following what I picked up from his videos and I compared them to the old mixes… Night and day difference. Then I did a few 1 on 1 lessons with him. I also purchased one of his mixing courses and templates. From all these things, from the youtube channel, to the lessons and the courses, Sean helped me get away from bad habits, helped me understand NEW and BETTER techniques… but overall, his information and the help I received from him helped me FINALLY achieve THAT sound.

Keeping it simple, Sean helped me understand things differently and helped me realize that there really are no “rules” or “right ways” to mixing. And by changing my mixing style and learning from him, I am 100x the Audio Engineer now than I was before.

Just a way to improve on different things I was already doing – your compression techniques on the R Comp which is my go to compressor. This price is 👍👍I know people that have paid a lot of 💵💵💵for templates that don’t have this much flexibility or don’t use waves plug-ins.
